Look at this fun Scrabble clock on this art site called "etsy". They can make a game-in-play on customized ones as well!

I'm a beginner hoping to find anyone to create scrabble word lists with.

I know i can copy and paste the big lists.

I hoping to find a message board or forum where i can post and exchange words lists .

lists like

4LW with Q Z J X Y K
probable lists
words with suffix and prefix and words with those letters in side other words.

COMMON WORDS OF THOSE , WORDS THAT LOOK MISPELLED.

The reason I wish to do it this way is because i have a learning disability.

I think if I work up some lists in collaboration with someone I could get a lot more creative and be more inclined to really dig through the words.
Rather than just memorizing them.

So please even if youre not intrested Can some of you point me in a few directions as to where to find a good forum / message boards to post in .

lists like opening words " begin began begun hello hi start fro first lead advance one contact proceed access ahead on open opening call in go onguard liftoff launch hence thus
"

For a beginner all these words may seem ok. apply a little strategy and some of the letters in these may be more or less valuable played on other turns.

Basically I'm looking for a "scrabble words buddy" or and forum where i can find "scrabble words buddies"

Scrabble on TV? Look out, Golf Channel!

This year, the issue resurfaced because the tournament was to be televised. The National Scrabble Association made it clear that the 170 verboten words, while acceptable during the first 30 rounds, would not be allowed during the televised finals. (This was decided in conjunction with ESPN, apparently to avoid the wrath of the FCC.) The rules were made clear to all players before the tournament, and the list of bad words was provided to the two finalists the night before their match. If they were unsure whether a word they wanted to play during the game was acceptable, they were to consult an official.

Scrabble, Steel Cage Deathmatch Edition

The Guardian staff challenge the entire Hay-on-Wye line up to a game of Scrabble.

The premise was simple, although another word you could have used to describe it might have been "foolhardy". The starting point was this: Britain's pre-eminent literary festival surely constitutes the greatest concentration, in a single small space, of some of the most talented authors, and other such creative types, in the world. Point two: for all their clever talk about characterization, plot, and research, these writers know that good writing, ultimately, is all about knowing lots of fancy words. Point three: Scrabble is another thing that is all about knowing lots of fancy words. Point four: writers are notoriously competitive. Perhaps you can see where this is heading.

It's The Big Snit come to life!

If you haven't seen The Big Snit, do so immediately. Especially if you're in a relationship.

"The following pages are real, unmanipulated examples of Scrabble-tile-chooosing ineptitude, hands so mind-bogglingly unfair in their horribleness that pictures just had to be taken." (From Clive)
