I don’t think it bothers Donald because he never really seems to notice that other people are making fun of him. Even if he knew that a bully was being mean to him he would be nice to the guy who is picking on him. For instance in the story he gave his favorite hat to a bully because he thought it was his but the bully just stepped on it.
