my teacher is reading loser to the class and it is a great book to read and i would highly recomend it to others. I think that jerry spinelli is a good author and i would like to read more of his books.

My teacher read the book to my class and it was very interesting.We never knew what would happen next!It was very injoyable to read and hear.Everyone loved it!!

Donald seems happy, but I don’t think he is because when he had field day at his school he was so slow that he lost every game. When field day was over his classmates were saying bad things about him and calling Donald a loser! So he skipped school some days and new people thought of him as a loser.

I don’t think it bothers Donald because he never really seems to notice that other people are making fun of him. Even if he knew that a bully was being mean to him he would be nice to the guy who is picking on him. For instance in the story he gave his favorite hat to a bully because he thought it was his but the bully just stepped on it.

Donald always is happy, despite the fact that everyone is making fun of him and talking behind his back. Donald is not very good at sports so people make fun of him because of that. Donald is kind of open minded because when the older kid at recess took his giraffe hat and told Donald that it was his Donald said “ ok he must have left his hat somewhere and I must have taken it by accident.” Donald is also very caring because he stayed out in the cold looking for Claudia and he got very sick.
