To a Claims Examiner, a Claimant is nothing more than an assigned "Claim Number" and the only interest a Claims Examiner has in the Claim Number is: "is the Paper Trail Acceptable?"
The many problems facing Claimants is the failure to recognize their own responsibility with their Claim.

No where in the Regulations does it say anything about the difficulty a typical Claimant experiences, just to find a Good Doctor or how difficult it is to develop an Acceptable Paper Trail.

Most of the difficulty ends when a Claimant finds a Good doctor and begins to create an manage an Acceptable Paper Trail.

The trouble a Claimant must go through just to do what I suggest is of no concern to the OWCP or a Claims Examiner

Why do I state this? For no other reason than it appears that it needs to be said as far as I am concerned.

Who "did what to whom" isn't important. Every Claimant has a story to tell. Every Claimant should carefully consider just what their needs are and focus directly on them are things are surely not going to get any better for them.

If you really want to turn things around, then dump your "dud Doctor" and "Clean Up Your Paper Trail" and make sure that even when you have to "go through hell" just to get anywhere, that you aware that there isn't any other way to go about it.

I think Legal Tape Recordings of Random Postal Facilities, Authorized by an OUTSIDE BRANCH of the GOVERNMENT, which provided COMPLETE IMMUNITY to Voluntary Participants, would probably answer more questions than anyone has successfully produced to date, in an effort to clearly demonstrate the source for the Public Perception of "GOING POSTAL."

TO NONAME. SORRY, I HAVE MY UNION CARD IN MY WALLET. UNION GAINS ARE MINE ALSO.

It's easy to blame management,the president,the unions.But how many of us sit back and look at our job as if we owned it. How many of us work with someone who's idea of working is taking in house annual.We as employees carry a heavy burdun of the blame for how this happen.Management allows the deadwood to lay around and rot, but we also allow itby carring them.We allow a fellow clerk to work with us , then 204-b and do nothing about because of the favors they give you.As a Union rep my job is to make sure management gives you what your are entitled to but i cant stop what you give them back.Employees get hired and go on comp to never work on the floor.we read in stead of doing our work. If you owned this business how would you react to the current problems. All i see you doing right now is point fingers at everyone else blaming them for the possable loss of our jobs.All of you failing to stand up for your self and saying the union will get me paid. everyone want to get paid for doing nothing.The next time you take that 25 minute break, or shut off your machine for 20 minutes so you can BS with the person across the isle.Think what would i do if i owned this business.Were all to blame for this.

Republican and/or democrat: What's in a name? A rose by any other other name, would smell as bad. NAFTA and GATT are anti-union, anti-US worker acts. Democratic president Clinton stumped for them. I have no more respect for the democrats, they just talk as if they were pro-union, but I believe they take the same "wages" and pass similar legislation. PS. To LA-Carrier, yes I voted for George Bush, thank you very much. If any postal employee looses their job it will not be because of George Bush, or anyone else who holds the office of President. It will be beacuse of the leadeship at the top in the Postal Service and to some extent our great, and I use that term loosely, union. Both side have shown great anamosity for each other and have made some very unreasonable demands. And another little point. It is not the President, Rebublican nor Democrate, that makes the laws of this great country, it is Congress. Civics 101.

Do you suppose we will be able to accept tips if they put us on pizza delivery wages? Probably would have to put in a pot and share with management......

I read an economic report about a year ago that said that anyones salary figures at about 50,000 a year, supports the existance of 1.7 other jobs in the economy. Meaning if we lose this level of pay, those McDonalds down the street from the P&DC will suffer as well. We won't even be able to work there either.

Folks, we better get these congress people buried in constituant mailings or they are going to take it all away.

This includes the retired folks as well since the reports indicates an idea of cutting them adrift from federal retirement.

We just had a stand-up talk were we were told that because of the contract with Airborne Express we can't treat bulk rate parcels from them as we do other bulk rate parcels. It confuses us,we treat the parcel as if it was priority when it was bulk rate.

It is just another attack on american workers by the Bush Administration. With this anti-union, anti-worker government we have right now, we will see more. Thanks to those who vote for Geroge Bush.
