I had the luxury of sharing a train cabin with some obnoxiously loud blacks this morning. Makes it a little difficult to read, and regardless of the blatant looks I was offering them, they did not understand. Some blacks are a little dense like that. Their understanding is that if they are being given looks, their freedom of speech must be exercised, otherwise it is wasted attention. Blacks are big on freedoms, volume is one of their modern day reactions to a history of suppression. Some find it empowering, but as an Asian minority (or majority if you prefer to believe that), I find it ignorant and annoying. If those blacks would shut the fuck up and read a book, the world would be a better place.

These blacks also had a child with them. I pictured it in 3 years, when it's at the age when water in large receptacles makes a fascinating plaything.

Child: [silently groping door to public toilet on subway]
Mom: Tyrone! You're stupid. Sit down before I slap you.
Child: But mom.
Mom: Shut the fuck up and sit. Stupid!
Child: [opens door to bathroom]
Mom: [words to violent to publish, harshly jerk Tyrone back outside]
Child: [smile at mother, walk slowly to toilet... *splash* *splash*]
Mom: You fucking idiot! Here, eat this. [pass snacks to child, no need to wash hands of course]



Tyrone would be a typical example of an ignorant fool who is hardened to any sort of discipline because of his upbringing. He will most likely be a troublemaker in school, for this very reason. A combination of this rougher, and mule-like stubborn attitude, and black-righteous "I'm never wrong, and I'm always free" pride on behalf of the mother will ensure a one way ticket to the ghetto for Tyrone.

Tyrone will be a rap superstar. His English will suck. And mainstream America will idolize Tyrone, place a high value on all of his words, and try to identify with the glorified gangster background. Regression.
