Alert for all travellers to North America: Abuse of Human Rights and Privacy Violations: Racially intolerant white canadian cops and security and their henchmen claim to be despots; following parasitically in the footsteps of their american counterparts, and wilfully engage in their racial profiling of non-whites, in racial harassment of non-whites, and in racially dehumanizing attempts to racially harass non-whites through intimidating physically, mentally, and spiritually; portraying their racial hatred of non-whites through causing wilfull and dehumanizing disturbance to non-whites through using illegal wall-see-through technologies and audio-bugs on non-whites' homes; through listening and watching through the walls of non-whites' rented and owned homes, and through their internet and private telephones. The perpetuators of these evil deeds do this from their cars using illegal equipment slyly given to them by the unworthy cops, and then accelerating their cars loudly and intimidatingly near non-whites' homes and driving intimidatingly in presence of non-whites on streets, making threatening u-turns, driving intimidatingly right up and over sidewalks when a non-white is on the sidewalk, and throwing their ugly bullying weight around, in their shameless acts of cowardice. Using non-whites to engage in racial harassment of other non-whites is an obnoxiously evil sinister humanely disgraceful intelligent move of the whites well-known for their ugly divide and rule tactics through their non-white henchmen. It's a shameful disgrace when the so called protectors of law turn into abusers of law themselves and throw the weight of their uniforms and law around as cowards. This sums it all up: The term "Nigger Lover" or "Nigga Luva" This term is used exclusively for the white women living in the United States of America. Most white women these days love black men. The reasons for this, from what I've been told, are the following: 1) They don't like white men because they aren't as "cool" as their black counterparts. 2) They hate white men because of their penis size (most white women are very loose and require a bigger penis to satisy them). 3) White women don't like being white and wish they were black to begin with - therefore giving up on the white race altogether. 4) They hate the white race so bad, that they are knowingly changing society by decreasing the white population from having children with black men. Reasons for this inculde: 1) Chinese women are much easier to get along with and don't have the miserable attitude most white women have. 2) Chinese women have thinner, slimmer bodies that are much more attractive than most white women's are. 3) Chinese women have tighter vagina's than most white women. It almost seems fitting that all white women should go with black men and that all white men should go with Chinese women. I had the luxury of sharing a train cabin with some obnoxiously loud blacks this morning. Makes it a little difficult to read, and regardless of the blatant looks I was offering them, they did not understand. Some blacks are a little dense like that. Their understanding is that if they are being given looks, their freedom of speech must be exercised, otherwise it is wasted attention. Blacks are big on freedoms, volume is one of their modern day reactions to a history of suppression. Some find it empowering, but as an Asian minority (or majority if you prefer to believe that), I find it ignorant and annoying. If those blacks would shut the fuck up and read a book, the world would be a better place.
These blacks also had a child with them. I pictured it in 3 years, when it's at the age when water in large receptacles makes a fascinating plaything.

The truth is, blacks are dissapearing every day. They get sick of all the crap, and simply walk away and become white, cause it is easier to live white.
This is easy to do when you consider that 60% of blacks have European ancestry, and 30% of whites have African ancestry. That makes 60 million blacks passing for white. Your grandmother was probably one, and you dodn't even know it.
Every time there is a big war, revolutionary, civil, WWI, they blend in a little more.
Do the math. When you subtract the latino and blacks who are passing for white, there are hardly any whites left, only 30 million or so.

- Advertise your "nation" (gang) with a bewildering array of colors that mean nothing to any one but other nig's. Oh yes, if another nig violates your "nation" i.e. garbage strewn empty lots and burned out tenements, shoot their ass.
- Look for identity in murderous criminal gangs when you can't find it in broken nigger homes because your mother was a 15 year old cokewhore and your father is in jail doing 5 to 15 for pistol whipping a mini-mart cashier.

Then get some young criminal scum to perform it, after changing his name to something stupid like Snoopy Dog. Spell the name of the group with phonetics and use a number in it because nig's really like that.
At least rap is an opportunity, e.g. for young black criminals to further their criminal careers. Rap needs only four things to be successful:
a producer, a promoter, a front-man flunky, and MTV to shove it down our throats. Be sure to say absolutely nothing important during the 5 pages of dialogue in a given rap joint other than "look at how much of a nigger I can be." Then roll a joint in the joint and think about the joint while stylin' to the joint.
- Show other lame-ass races the black race is unique by having a culture/lifestyle that results in diseases/poverty/birth rates for blacks consistently rising while it falls for the others.

Bern,
You make many fine points, many of which I concur with. However, the Bush approach and the Dean approach are very different, which is why it will be a very interesting campaign. If you think of each campaign as putting on a theatrical production, I think you will begin to see some of the key differences. This is not a matter of degree, it is a fork on the road. Is it about people or dollars? Is it about the truth bubbling up or the truth trickling down from an priviledged elite? Are there many forms of common sense or is there only one true common sense? Is there only imperfect knowledge or do "the best people" have special access to perfect knowledge? Is the morality of the means more important than the ends or do the ends justify the means?
As you can see by the questions above there is a world of difference bewteen the Dean and Bush views of the citizens and the world. Our job is to articualte these differences and then allow active citizens make a the best choice they can.

Traditionally, we call the "active and engaged partner[s]" of any party or candidate its/his base. These are not the people who are swayed by 30-second ads—they are informed citizens who have developed and hold a particular political philosophy and participate in the process.
If anything, in recent years the GOP has been abundantly successful in solidifying and motivating its base through traditional organizing efforts. Your point apparently is that the disruptive innovation you describe somehow is going to be more effective than such traditional organizing.
You go further to suggest that this disruptive innovation somehow will negate the effect of advertising. In other words, it will produce an incremental vote count greater than the number of "passive consumers" (aka swing voters) who are still going to cast their ballots based on commercials.
Those are sweeping claims, and I have no idea what evidence there is to support them, but I will stipulate them for the sake of discussion, in order to get to your final claim: That all of this disadvantages Bush on account of his unhip "style" and "perspective".
First, if this disruptive innovation consists (as I understand it) in a self-organizing grassroots phenomenon, then I still don't see why it matters whether or not the candidate, on whose behalf the effort is undertaken, "gets" it. Sometimes the grassroots succeeds in turning out the vote even for the most inept candidate.
Second, it would be well to remember that Bush has benefited on more than one occasion when his opponents underestimated his political savvy and agility.
I do not doubt technology's long-term effects on the political process. Previous generations of technology already have wrought profound changes. It's just very hard to see how some of these breathless predictions about the effect on Bush's candidacy amount to more than wishful thinking. (Still, I do hope that Rove has factored this in.)

Not quite sure where the top down comes from. Of course the Bush folks can connect and some will. It is just not Bush's style, as evidenced by his actions, to promote maximum voter participation, openness, nor treating the citizen as other than passive consumers to be manipulated by 100 million dollar ad campaigns. It would be wonderful if the GOP could adopt the view of the voter as an active and engaged partner and co-producer of government. But I suspect this is a classic "disruptive innovation" and it will be essentially invisible to the Bush team given their perspective on the world.

I think "post-Broadcast" politics hits the nail on the head!
Media such as TV, radio and the press provide basically one-way communication, and they're expensive. This means (1) you can lie or say unpopular things, and you won't get a tomato thrown at you - so people might be deceived into thinking you're telling the truth or populare things, and (2) it costs a lot of money to get your message out.
"Post-broadcast" politics uses the Internet which is (1) two-way, and (2) less expensive!
Being able to finally get back to inexpensive, two-way communication is going to bring power back to the people!

An oddly top-down view of a supposedly grassroots phenomenon. Are Bush supporters somehow not allowed to connect themselves?
