Hey yall...tonight I was listening to a certain CD, and I just wanted to know, how many of you EJK fans own the Temptations' LOST AND FOUND CD?

I've had it since it came out about three or so years ago and it is full of RARE GEMS from the Classic 5 years. If you don't have this CD, this is an absolute MUST to own. These were songs that were recorded but never released...the moment I first played it I felt in love with it!! And you have GOT to check out Eddie singing in his natural tenor on a song from '62 called "My Pillow"...OH MY GOD! I felt like I paid a visit to Heaven just to hear Eddie sing again...and another song he does called "Dinah"...on the old EJK board I loved that song so much I changed my username to "Dinah-myte!", because that's just what that song is!!

For those of you who have this CD, then you already know that it is something definitely worth owning. But if you DON'T...yo, you need to get it RIGHT NOW, no kidding!!

Gotta get some sleep...back to tha grind tomorrow!!

Good morning (((Eddiebody))), I was reading email this morning before walking out of the door to go to work and am LOL at (((BP's))) post last night cuz I just ordered and paid for the Lost and Found Tempts CD and am awaiting for its arrival, which should be here this week!!! LOL.

Good morning yall...I swear yall are gonna LOVE that CD. And (((Jamel))) is right, "Dinah" is one of the best cuts on that CD...Smokey Robinson wrote it and check this out: it was done as a foursome...after David was gone and BEFORE Dennis was there. But the thing is, you can't really tell the difference because the background sounds really full. When Eddie spells the letters, all you ladies will wish that "Dinah" was your name, too! ;-)

There are a lot of good songs on it, although you can obviously tell *why* some songs weren't released back then. But it is definitely worth owning...

(((BP))), like you, I have young children, so since I am a full-time working mother and part-time business owner, I spend all additional time with them and hubby cuz I am a homebody at heart. I am new to this page even though I have been on other Temp related boards. I plan on spending my New Years Eve and Day doing a classic Motown weekend. I'm breaking out the LP's and 45"s and doing the whole nine. I'm really trying to introduce my children, who range from 26 to 9, what real music and singers sound like. No class of this kind would be complete without a dose of "Cornbread", the greatest tenor in music, not just soul and r&b.

Happy New Year to all of you. We have been blessed to grow up in an era that the best music of the century was played.
Eddie Kendrick(s) was and is a vital part of it.

Welcome Pastor J! Your New Years Eve sounds like a real plan to me. And I feel you on trying to get your kids into what real music sounds like instead of what they may hear on the radio or see in the music videos...I'm doing the same thing. My youngest is more receptive to what I'm trying to do than the older one. LOL But I totally agree, we have been blessed to grow up hearing some of the best music ever! And even more blessed to have our ears graced by the vocals of EJK... :-)

On the subject of the videos, usually a good place to start is on Ebay, where they have videos of the Classic 5 Tempts and Eddie in some solo performances. You can also look on Amazon.com for the "Dancin' In The Street" video (1987 concert footage) with Eddie, David, Martha Reeves and Mary Wells. Also, you will want to check out "The Original Lead Singers of the Temptations" (aka "Street Gold"), a video that pays tribute to Eddie, David and Dennis Edwards. You can order it at this address:
