I liked your story Chris. I associated with the character easily for some reason, probably because I associate with NYC so much and I could easily picture your scenes (in technicolor). I thought Tim's and Heather's interaction was affectionate but cold in a weird way, and almost like it was very fragile and could break any moment, and it did...
All of these and a number of other parts made me like the story...
Now, only if I could move back to Manhattan....

Hey Marstall...is that you? Do you even remember me?
I just started corresponding with Ann Borden, an old friend of mine from Madison. We lived in a Co-op at the same time, with a guy named Chris Marstall. Could that be you?
This was in the late 80's, I think perhaps 1989?
Yes? No? Inquiring minds want to know.
By the way, regardless of who you are, I liked the story.
