<rant>The government needs to fine companies that ditch US workers in favor of cheap off-shore laborers to make up money and stop taking away from we taxpayers. Sick to death of thousands getting laid off so wall street will show earnings... Hey how about giving tax benefits to companies that take the loss in favor of not laying off American workers, who pay taxes and buy goods. Hard to get consumers to spend when they don't work.</rant>
We are lucky to have several Greenways here, but they are isolated and not helpful for getting anywhere.
I'd kill for the roads to have shoulders. Here in TN, there aren't many shoulders and riding in a lane on a narrow 2 lane with these psycho drivers is scary enough in a car...
If they'd let us ride in the shoulders of Metro area interstates, it'd make bike commuting easier here...
