A fascinating history! Maybe the Museum of Jurassic Technology could mount an exhibition, and if so, I'd be happy to help them collect some great old artifacts.

Interesting to note that Wayne Dauber, grandson of Clovis, was a member of the Chicago 8 until the family lobbied to have the charges dropped prior to the trial.

Interesting, Chico-- I hadn't realized that! I'd love to find out how much Clovis's cultural influence was carried through Wayne to inspire Abbie Hoffman. I would guess that there's a link, but for all I know, Wayne never discussed his grandfather.

Don't confuse the Chicago 8 Wayne Dauber with the even more illustrious, if obscure, Wayne Dauber Prince of Tyrakhan, who was "assassinated by a terrorist posing as a paramedic" according to this historic link. My research assistant is still working on establishing the link between Wayne and the somewhat better known Pam. The link is very very fine, but we're convinced it's there.
