George Supporter, you say: "The war was and is about the critical national security of the United States at a difficult time of dealing with terrorists and terrorism" but here is my question. When, and correct me if I'm wrong, the United States fearing an attack from Iraq? Also, you're implying that to promote democracy in the world, a country needs to physically fight with the people and force it upon them. You talk about how the United States has been given the power to secure the security of the internation system as well, but who granted this power? When the US declared war on Iraq, the Brits were with us, but everyone else was against us. So who gave us this "power"? And who is classified as a terrorist? Are the people of Iraq all terrorists? If we should be focused so much on terrorists, why haven't we found Osama yet? Why have much of our efforts shifted from the country that flew planes into our buildings and killed innocent people to a country who has diplomatic problems?
