update (4:57pm):

aaron has not passed his stone yet but the plan right now is the plan on playing and give aaron the power to say "i can't do it" or "let's play a short set" at the last minute.

i want to play so bad that this makes me sorta happy. i'm a little nervous that he won't wnat to play at the last minute as i sorta talked him into saying he would but, i think he should realize that he's not gonna be rocking out a bunch tonight and he should be okay. maybe i can suck the little stone out of him before we play, even.

oh man. keep your fingers crossed.

i think aaron is okay. i don't think he's passed it yet (i told him to call me during the action and to hold the receiver up to his "port" so i could hear the jagged little nugget pass through to the sunlit region. i have my fingers triple crossed that he'll pass that little fucker today.

in general, i haven't had to deal with the kidney stones before (fortunately) so i have no idea how much they hurt but i'd imagine the answer is "A LOT" though he's dealt with this before so maybe he needs to take a hint and really change his diet and whatever else so that he doesn't have to put more shows in the question zone with something as bullshit as his "health." i mean, come on!

for some reason i still have this positive feeling in my mind that it'll work out and he'll pass it before then and we'll get to play but that's probably going to be my downfall.

actually, one of the two new mercator songs is called "unicorn blood" or "these lips crave unicorn blood". so unicorns will be coming. bloodily.

however, will mercator actually play? this is question on the lips of children everywhere. aaron mercator bass/guitar was taken to the emergency room last night where it was discovered he has kidney stones. painful, painful! should he pass them prior to the show, mercator will destroy all. if not, mercator will bow out. of course, we are all really hoping that aaron will scream the pain of the mineral deposit passing through penis glory but, god hates us maybe and we will have to sit by the side and watch. fucks!

if anyone thinks that they can suck the deposit out of him fastest, please contact me and let me know.
