The Slater and Jessie Spano duet of "How Am I Supposed To Live Without You" is my favorite version of that song. Yes, I like it even better than the original by that beast Michael Bolton, believe it or not.

Anyone else out there willing to share a Slater confession? Come on. You know you dig Slater. You know you dig Slater's mullet.

As you may remember, at the height of Saved By The Bell's success, the dude who played Slater also co-hosted a saturday morning show. I don't even remember the premise of the show, but I do remember that it was a hosting gig, not an acting gig. Anywyay, one day I was at one of the popular waterparks here in Southern California and I SAW SLATER.

I was in line for one of the waterslides, on some stairs, and suddenly there's a big ruckus coming from behind me and then Slater and several other people (the show's co-hosts and producers I guess) go right past us, making their way to the front of the line.

So, I say to my friend, I'm all like "Dude, that was Slater!" and he goes "Yup! He really is buff!". And for a few minutes the whole line was all aflutter with Slater sighting excitement.

So, yeah, they were there taping that show that I can't remember the premise of. We also saw them later in the food court area of the park, eating. Little girls kept making excuses to walk past their table and giggle. Good Times.

Slater's Army brat pathos was only delved into seriously in one or two episodes. The episode "What's My Zip Code?" being the one most fans will remember.

What most do not know however is that Sam Bobrick (series creator) and Scott Gale (who wrote the theme music) wrote a script for a feature length film about Slater and his Army General father (played by Gerald Castillo) that revolved around the last 48 hours before Slater arrived at Bayside.

The film was to have been shot in real-time (which could have been one of the reasons financing was never secured) and featured a five minute underwater fight scene between Slater and an offshore whaler who had kidnapped Slater's father.

when i get up in the morning, while i'm eating breakfast, i watch tv and it's usually "lois and clark" for some reason i can't figure out. i usually start eating a few minutes before it starts, which means i catch the last few minutes of "saved by the bell". now, don't get me wrong, i liked that show as a kid but now i hate it so much i barely want to finish eating. it kills me. everything about that show just makes me want to put a knife in my brain.

so, sorry brittney but the only thing i can say about slater from the show is "that guy sucks worse than his shitty hairdo"

Oh, just sop it up with a biscuit already!

Before you head out to destinations unknown, you'll have to make a Southern-styled pileup, whenever that happens again.

Yes, congrats on the assignment!!! Then someday in the not too far future you can write a sordid screenplay of the outback gig with the fodder you are currently not looking forward to! lol

And hell, you already have a nice fan base here.
