Copies of this was givin out with all differant colors and shapes and peices of bandannas, scarves, etc. On the day of my protest against the Rules in our Public Schools. The teachers and staff were telling children to take them off all day long.
WHY? Well after all the things i experianced with the people in our schools and the rules they keep going back to past wars and a high percentange keeps going back to germany, france, and our own government. No child left behind Policy is a FARCE!!And any American that shares even some of my blood,BELIEFS and history of wars and slavery is and for ever should be EXEMPT from any war. SCOTTISH,FRENCH,ENGLISH,IRISH,GERMAN,JEWISH,INDIAN,AFRICAN,CHRISTIANS,HINDUS,
CATHOLICS, AND ANY ONE CONNECTED TO OUR BIBLE. AND PEOPLE MAY HAVE DIFFERANT LANGUAGES BUT WE STILL HAVE ALLOT IN COMMON. Not only in my blood but in theirs also. IVE BEEN DOING ALOT OF STUDING I SUGGEST YOU DO THE SAME. There are so many strang connections to the rules of the schools and hitlers they have just found new words and differant ways to try and cover the real truth behind all wars allready fought.Reruns from history. SAME WARRIORS DIFFERANT LAYERS.
I GAVE OUT STICKERS OF THIS WITH SCARVES. AT HAMLIN MIDDLE SCHOOL AFTER NO COMPROMISE, NO COMPASSION FOR MY MOTHER OR MY DAUGHTER. ETC ETC.

I ________________ am exercising my first amendment rights. I am not a Gang member and this is just a scarf, hat, on my head and I like it. I do not mean to offend you nor am I being disrespectful. Tomorrow I might decide to wear something like a cross, or an American flag or a Mexican flag. The symbols from all Races and Religions should be welcome in the U.S.A If we let Gangs take away the symbols we love or hate, we’ll have to remove all symbols we love or hate, we’ll have to remove all symbols and art in schools that mean something. Including Red and blue numbers and letters etc. My parents taught me right from wrong and I do not support gangs. I’m just a kid who likes different styles because next week I might decide to wear something like a multicolored Mohawk and then you’ll wish I wore a hat. I’m just a kid who possibly decided to obey my natural instincts to cover my head because my ears were cold or I have messy hair or perhaps no hair at all. Perhaps it is in my religion I choose to cover my head as my ancestors did. I will not use this Hat, Indian headdress, scarf, turbine, bonnet, and yamika in a rude manner, and I will kindly move to the back of the classroom if my head covers or blocks the blackboard. And if you decide to wear a charm, artwork, a religious symbol, a Star of David, a Christmas tree, a cross, a saint, a astrology sign, a lesbian symbol, a rainbow, a tear drop, a Buddha, a yen yang, a flag, NFL team, a school logo, a name brand symbol, Musician Symbols, unlucky 13 number, the shamrock, the pyramid, Oregon Duck symbol, the heart with wings, the $ symbol etc, etc, etc I promise that I wont tell you to take it off. This is America is it not? If someone uses the excuse that a star, teardrop, a paisley, and a brand of clothing is used by gang members and it’s a violent cause, why do the schools teach us the periodic table of codes? Can’t the codes of the periodic table cause violent behavior? And ask them this what are the schools symbols used for? If the say its because gang related material is a violent cause, you cant ask what does another group have to do with me? What other art and symbols have gangs used? Are we going to ban all the symbols or codes or the gestures have they used? Is it the fault of the 2000 yr old paisley that it was the unlucky symbol that happened to be on the scarf in the beginning of gangs? The first amendment does not allow the ban of Free speech and communication, be it sign language, brail, lawyer codes, television, telephone, gang symbols or police codes, IM Shorts, Ubby Dubby, law codes, doctor codes and symbols, computer codes, Army, Air force, Marines codes and symbols and who is tell a bad symbol from a good symbol? It is in the eye of the beholder and you cant punish one certain group, or symbol with out punishing the rest. Also, you can’t punish a child for wearing want they decide to wear as long as it doesn’t block children from reading the blackboard. I do not support gang activity nor do I support violence but I do and always support the first amendment. And by the way isn’t there a Christmas tree in the office (a Christmas tree is a symbol for Christians)? I am aware that I may be punished in some way or another for wearing my hat, my beanie, my head dress, etc And if I am punished for wearing colors, symbols, or so called gang related material I hope that the teachers also punish them selves for wearing any so called gang related material, like the paisley, teardrop, stars of any sort, red, blue, football symbols, gold necklaces, crosses, etc. I remind you again I am exercising my first amendment rights to wear a head cover or not. Please write or call the Board of Education to stop the banning of symbols in public schools http://www.sps.lane.edu" www.sps.lane.edu (541) 747-3331
I _________________________will take a lunch detention, referral or possible suspension in order to protect my and your first amendment. You are welcome.

I tried to give back everyone's rights and heritage back to the children of my own school that I am also a product of. I handed out this paper with all differant colors and shapes of scarves (bandannas) because I could not believe that scarves, symbols, and cloth is the real reason for death, seperation, gangs, etc. So I tried to protest and I just got pushed around and lied about. The teachers and staff continued to pick the material off of the children. Why? Well I truly know now. Secrets behind the truth of wars of today and yesterday. not only here but also in India. + THE PAISLEY IS A HINDU SYMBOL FOR THE PALM, THE TREE OF LIFE= ETERNITY. IT IS ALSO IN OUR BIBLE. THE # 8=ETERNITY. THE #7 IS THE NUMBER ABOVE THE DEVIL. OKAY STUDY THE HINDUS REVELATIONS AND COMPAIR THEM TO THE CHRISTIANS REVELATIONS. WOW. YOU CANT HIDE THE TRUTH NO MATTER HOW PAINFUL OR SCARY. LOVE EACH OTHER. AND YOUR ENEMY FOR HE TO HAS GIVIN YOU LESSONS TO LEARN FROM. WAR DOES NOT WORK. WE HAVE PROVEN THAT. GIVE TO THE CHILDREN IN OUR SCHOOLS, GIVE THEM BACK SPEACH, CIVIC CLUBS, SOCIAL CLUBS, THEATRE GROUPS, ETC.

Since I became involved with this forum...seems like so long ago…many will remember me as being very outspoken to say the least about my conservative views and the support of our President.

I think perhaps the last year or so some of my opinions may have shifted slightly. However, I am still tossing around these ideals in my head to try and find where I actually stand on things.

What I would like to do is start a dialogue among conservatives, liberals and well anyone about a couple of hot topics in the news today.

1) Economy
2) Immigration (border security)
3) The war on terror
4) And the President’s Poll numbers.

Depending on the poll you read you will find the President’s job approval rating between 29% and 38%.

Personally, I am not sure this is a real number. The economy seems strong and all indicators are showing we have the strongest economy of any nation in the history of the world. When I go to Wal-Mart or Sam’s Club or the mall…the parking lot is packed with consumers shopping ‘til they drop. People are spending money…I bought my wife a new gas grill for Mother’s Day…hehe…and while we were going from store to store to find the perfect grill (for my wife on Mother’s Day)…she remarked…”it’s like Christmas at every store"…we spent about 30 minutes inline to pay for our new grill…and new utensils.

Immigration…11 million illegal immigrants in our country. As a conservative I would expect the President I voted for and the republicans I helped elect to protect our borders. Are they doing this? What of President’s Bush’s prime time speech the other day?

The war on terror: Iraq has their own government…finally. Mistakes were made in Iraq…however, we have been a nation for over 200 years and we STILL HAVE NOT GOT IT ALL RIGHT. I believe given time the President or some President will reach our goals in Iraq. We are growing very tired of being at war…How are things going in Iraq?

The President’s job approval rating…first…if we look back in history at all the great President’s with a second term…their poll numbers did not look much different…and the people of the day questioned everything they did. Reagan won the cold war without firing a shot…yet, the media and the other side would have had us all believe we were headed for nuclear war with Russia. Looking back…he did the right thing.

We are perhaps the only superpower left on the planet. With that comes with great responsibility…

I started out saying some of my views may have shifted…I would like to hear from some of you, especially, fellow conservatives…but all comments and rants are welcome. Once I hear your opinions, I will come out with how I am feeling about a few things. I may just surprise some of you…but perhaps not.

Looking forward to your comments.

Hey Kevin...I just now got a chance to read your post...So now I'll say it doesn't really seem like your opinions have changed that much from before the election til now...I don't know about you Kevin, but I don't like having to pay 50 dollars to buy a tank of gas...I guess that's the biggest beef I have at Bush right now. Other than that I'm not going to bitch about Bush.

Do you think Bush and his family stand to gain from the high price of fuel? Aren't they in the oil bis? Is the pres jack'in prices up to pocket for himself and his family? The Bush family is so rich and powerful now. It's like having royalty in America...For all I know Jeb Bush will be the next Pres...and if that happens this country will be like the mid evil days when idiots were born to be kings.

KING BUSH...LONG LIVE THE KING!!!

I don't think its Bush or the oil company's that are to blame. I have looked at this. The oil companies make 8¢ on a gallon of gas. The Federal Government 20¢ on a gallon...plus numerous local and state taxes. The problem is not the private sector (the Oil Company or Bush as a stock holder) but rather the taxes we must pay on each gallon of gas. See this website: http://www.gaspricewatch.com/usgastaxes.asp

When you add the 2¢ or 3¢ the station makes...you will soon see that the price gouging is coming from the government at all levels.

Also, BIG BUSINESS does not pay taxes...we do. They build the tax into the price of the product...this raises the price about 20%. So, we are being double taxed...

You may be surprised to learn that Exxon reported $36 Billion in profit. But they paid $100 Billion in Taxes! Is that fair?

Also, we have enough oil in the United States to support us for the next 100 plus years without buying one drop from outside. Why are we not doing this? The liberals!!!!!

It's not difficult to see where the real problem is.

The ONLY solution to high gas prices is to get rid of the taxes. I would encourage you to read this site: http://www.fairtax.org. This will give you some more insight into what I am talking about. I truly believe we will be on a fair tax system before we know it. Congress is already working on it.

Jeb Bush...YIKES!!! I think we have several candidates that are much better than Jeb. We are still at war...and we will still be in 2008. We need a President with some nuts. and I am sorry...but that whole Terri Shrivo case...proved that Jeb Bush clearly has none!

You don't come on TV and say you have the authority to act...especially in a highly emotionally charged situation...and then not act.

I am mixed about John McCain...sometimes I like him...some times I hate him...besides his face is falling off! OK, that was mean...

One thing is for certain...the republicans have a long list of qualified candidates for President. The democrat's best hope is Hillary. Kerry and Gore...grooming for President now...good grief...American don't want them screwballs. Dunno...2008 could be more lopsided than 2004...but the republicans MUST fix immegration and show us a way out of Iraq...

here we go...

Kevin you made me laugh, when you said we need a pres with nuts...I thought we had that...but the nuts aren't between his legs...it's between his goofy ears...

Ventura represents a fresh approach to politics. He is neither a Republican or a Democrat. It is important for our political system to get away from only having two choices. This will force the Dem's and Rep's to do more of what the people want, not what corporations and special interest groups want (and get). He is a firm believer in family values; which is something that holds up in any culture. Most importantly he believes in a free society. Check out http://www.voters4ventura.com/
