I use Mail.app and am happy with it. I use .Mac to read my mail on the road, and it syncs with adressbook etc. It would be nice if Mail.app got more robust but if it doen't then I would consider MailSmith (with IMAP) or some other app. I also liked Eudora, and if it got an overhual would consider it again.
