Brittney,
I'm glad your keeping the cam, I think it's great. I too have been interested in putting a cam in my house, mostly to watch my cat's antics while I'm at work.

I like having your cam on then I can look up and I have a friend!

take care of you!

Britt, I also will belch for vouch for the unreadable-text-on-the-desktop-cam.

I can't see it either.

Also, I will chime in on the leaving-cam-objects-open-too-long-and-crashing-safari issue. It also crashes Mozilla for OS9. And it doesn't work at all for IE for OS9.

Tech tech tech tech blah!

pssst...want some whiskey?

[geeking style="egregious"]...But it's been known for all time that System 9 is, well... System 9. Crashes harder than ValuJet, right up there with the OS with which our charming proprietress has been saddled.[/geeking]

And S. -

Bourbon or scotch? I am so up for that noize right now.

...While the text is fairly unreadable, someone accomplished at solving mysteries can accomplish a lot of up-to-no-good.

And for those looking for clues, reverse-resolution and traceroute utilities are a must. Less so whois tools for finding block owners, use of which too often ends for me in frustration.

...For some reason, my capacity for original thought has of late dwindled to zero. Damnit.

Brittney,
I've got more! Perhaps I'll fire up ye olde burner and slap a new mix/picture in the mail for ya.
I think it cool that you've shared your life with us. I have a a large and close-knit circle of friends, but I often wonder about the larger units of neighborhood, community and society in general...we've never met and probably never would under any other circumstances, yet I know something about you. That's so cool...

Hey, didn't you write a note to me and tell me you were going to email me back? :p you never did.. maybe the note was for someone else :( I know you know my IP addy...

as far as the text, I can almost never see what the text says unless it's somewhat large, like the song titles on your windows media player (which is cool, I like to see what you are listening to...) If you are looking to be a little more open about what you are doing, you should sign up for audioscrobbler.com and install the winamp plugin, then you can tell the whole world what you are listening to..

I general I like the desktop cam more than I like the stalker-cam.. I can't quite think of the word to sum up why, maybe the desktop cam is more personal.. It's a lot like surfing the web without the trouble of having to actually move and make decision and stuff like that, you just let someone else do it for you. the stalker-cam is like playing The Sims with a broken mouse.

That message was intended for you, but I've done what I swore I wouldn't do ever again: let the emails pile up so that I can reply to them all at once. This becomes an overwhelming chore almost in no time.

Basically, I'm a lazy fucking procrastinator. Of the worst kind.

I am not lying when I say I have email writing time scheduled for first thing tomorrow morning.

hehehe... it's cool, brittney. I know how much emails can be a labourious chore, so don't sweat it.... ;) but at least turn your camera back on soon :p If you aren't home, you should consider pointing the cam out the window or something so we can watch the outside of murfreaksboro.

Now get to sleep. 4:52 AM ET is barely a late night where I live. but it's like almost time for the sun to rise where you live :p

by the way, I thought it fair to warn you, dispite how much I'm enjoying it: now we can read what is on your screen. It seems a setting has changed and the resolution of your screenshot is different, i.e. we can see the upper left hand half of your screen now, but not the rest of the screen for some reason. If you don't want us reading your screen, I'd change the setting back.

That's more like it, even if I did like the other way better :p But I figured it was more gentlemanly, or perhaps more sporting to let you know.

i don't think i could do the web cam.

i just know there would be way too many photos of me picking my nose or something bouncing around the blogs.

i make enough of an ass of myself.
