i wanted to make some pun about "conversely" in the subject and sklero's addition of chuck taylors to the discussion, but it came out all weird and dumb. i blame nike. and the tennessean.

E: Vidiot is right. Wear some trunks or shorts that will dry quickly, a nasty old T and some shoes that can get wet but STAY ON. (The Ocoee still has my brown leather sandal.)
P.S. I am not going rafting but signed up anyway so I can have the day off. Shhhhhhhh.
And Doppelganger: I thought the entry, basically, sucked. I may rewrite it and post it today. Because you are right, there is TRUTH in it.

I recommend old Chuck Taylors with no socks! You can borrow mine. They have black laces for black power.

I'm not Brittney (nor even her doppleganger), but I've gone rafting a fair number of times. I'd hie myself to a Wal-Mart and pick up some cheap swim trunks. That, a T-shirt, and old sneakers or Tevas (or Wal-Mart knock-off Tevas) should do you. Failing the the swim trunks, old shorts that you don't care much about work just fine. Have fun.

What do people normally wear while Whitewater rafting?
Is it a swimsuit thing... or an outdoorsy, Crocodile Hunter-fatigues type thing?
I don't own swimming trunks...
