Happy Birthday - hope you had a good time! My ex goes to SD's comic-con every year, I'll send him over! I am sure he would rather meet a saavy web girl like you.

Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, etc etc my singing voice is bloody awful. Just read it, don't try verbalising it, you'll sound like you've got sand up your nose :)

Glad to see you back online again, too! Hope the birthday was good. 31's an, erm, well, to be honest I forgot already. And I'm only 32!

Hey Bonnie, I was wondering...do you believe in fate, or destiny or things like that? I heard a rumor that you simply think things just "happen" because of earlier choices one may have made. Is that true?

And I heard you like to bowl? I personally go bowling when I get writer's block. Which basically means I bowl once a week. WHAT'S YOUR AVERAGE?

And did you meet any cool, interesting, and possibly cute people while working at comicon??

My birthday is July 29th...add it to the list.

See you in March 2004.

Hey, Bonnie. this is Laura who used to live in TX but is back in North CA now. I haven't heard from you in ages so I thought I'd check in and see what's been going on in your world.
Congrats on the fab job! That must be fun! I'd settle for a retail job right now. :/
I'd love to keep in touch again.

Hey -

What's this "grrl" business anyway? Is it supposed to be like "womyn" was a couple of years back?

That was supposed to be important because the people who used it thought that the language we use or have at our disposal effects what and/or how we think.. or at least confines the thoughts that we can think... A la Orwell's 1984... a la the Saphir Worf hypothesis....

(They're mistaken by the way... Chomsky's "Syntactic Structures", 1956 demonstrates that language can do no such thing ...Googling "Chomsky Principals and Parameters" will bring up lots on this thought.)

But that doesn't really apply to this "grrl" business.... What's up? Is it just cool.. or ....??? I see it all over the place now.

Just askin'

Joe
