3 carnagex2000 07-29-2003 04:55 PM ET (US) They already have 1GB sticks for the 12" Powerbook, there are a limited amount of manufactures that make it now (almost all manufactures will have the 1GB sticks for the 12" out in Nov-Dec) The sticks are not cheap though. They are two different kinds of RAM, so no luck yet for those running the 12-inchers. The 17" Powerbook uses PC2700 RAM and the 12" uses PC2100 RAM (because the two computers have different bus speeds). As I understand it, you cannot mix and match.
