This used to be a forum just for crime lovers. What happened? Is someone entitled to get rid of the spam messages? If the topic administrator will not or cannot solve this problem, why don't we turn to another forum?

Religious Symbolism - The Da Vinci Effect
Are there many authors who used religious symbolism before The Da Vinci code by Dan Brown ?

Hi all,

Firstly, apologies for the recent spam take over. This forum is now back in control and any further spam messages will be deleted as soon as they appear. So you should be able to get back to your regularly scheduled crime chat without interruption!

With the Festival now only a month away, the excitement is building at the Festival Office. We are very much looking forward to welcoming this year's special guests, including Andy McNab, Robert Crais, Peter Robinson, Tess Gerritsen and Jeffery Deaver, to Harrogate. Programming Chair Simon Kernick has put together some great panels too, such as Damaged Heroes and Bloody Women. We would love to know who (or what) you are most looking forward to seeing in July, so please tell us!

I am looking forward to Chris Kuzneski & Tess Gerritsen.
Is there any information for 2009 ?

2009 Programming Chair Laura Wilson is working on the final touches to 2009 as we type - ready for annoucements to be made at the 2008 Festival.

All I can tell you at this stage is that it's looking like we'll have a very strong line-up and a few Festival 'firsts'!
