feeling the love - got a "free" t-shirt advertising flat rate boxes that everyone is to wear on Wednesdays - sort of like a sandwich board ad?

ya people are going to wear them in the plants. you don't get one if it is your day off! a lot of good that will do! advertise to each other! why not place advertisements on the side of ALL postal vehicles?

WhooHoo! I got my Priority T-Shirt. They passed them out to the Regulars in the plant last night and then started passing them out to favored PTF's. Suggested we wear them Wednesday but allowed that they couldn't tell us what to do and how to dress. Glad to see the financial crisis is over. It is, isn't it?

A t-shirt with advertising on it nonetheless, how about that?! Last fiscal year the USPS shelled out 43.6 mil on e-awards and gifts, to 185K employees. Items such as expensive watches, flat screen TVs, game systems, DVRs, cameras, etc. Hope you get to keep that t-shirt once the promotion's over.

Our Saturday window hours are being cut down to 2 hours (from 4), but scan times remain the same. I will sort the mail for 2 hours; do the reports, etc. So basicly I will be in the office for the 6 hours but unable to work the window but two. How does this save the p.o. any money? We will lose revenue. It is just incredibly stupid. I don't know why I am surprised.

Prime,
You haven't been in America long, huh? I suggest you acquaint yourself with dictionary.com. Your spelling and grammar are atrocious.

Today is my 25th anniversary in the Post Office. I can't believe I made it! However, if I retire in December, I will receive a poverty pay of $1,057 per month (without survivor benefits) compared to those in Congress. I bid off the window when my job was abolished and now work on the SPBS (small bundle parcel sorter). I miss the window and the customers. One piece of advice please make sure a lot of those parcels are taped. Why? Because when they drop ten feet onto the belt --sometimes they get unraveled. Love ya all. PS: Prime go back to school!
