 For me the one thing the 12-incher is missing is an ADC or DVI connector -- as it is, there's no way to hook it up to an Apple display. Interestingly, the Apple Business store recently started selling a bundle that includes the PowerBook 12" and a 17?-inch Cinema Display. This was either a real goof on some marketeer's part, or a sign of things to come.

 What about the 12" inch though they just came out with this in Jan and did not ship most of these until Feb 2003. Maybe they just want to lower the prices on the 12" similar to what they have done with the iMacs. I wish this signaled that the new chips were ready, but I feel that is way off for portable models. New desktops will probably have them in 2-3 months, maybe the WWDC.
