My name is Christina and I am conducting a research project for Bishop McDevitt High School. The project is entitled, "The Various Levels of Grease in Fast Food Hamburgers," and the purpose of my experimentation is to find the amount of grease content in hamburgers from numerous, commonly known fast food restaurants. I would appreciate any information (whether general or specific)that you could provide me regarding this subject. Please send it to chrisbrat4@aol.com I found your experiment both very interesting and resourceful. Thank you.

A new outbreak of burger-surfing in the Chicago area, announced today is supposed to be the biggest announcement so far. I guess they mean "in America" because they announced several thousand outlets with WiFi in Japan last year, and the Chicago announcement is for only about 100 outlets...

My wife's an "education advisor", who a while back did some work with McD's. At the time, they were frantic to try and break away from the "screaming kiddies and their parents" image, and trying to break into almost ANY other demographic market. My local franchise runs a "McWrinklies" (except that's not what they call it to their customers!) breakfast on Wednesdays, when they're jammed full of pensioners. McD's have been on the slide for a while - decreasing overall revenues from an increasing number of outlets - and made their first ever worldwide loss in Q1 2003. They're trying anything and everything to reverse the downwards trend - "regional" menus (in Paris last summer I stood behind an American family FURIOUS that only a 'French-style' breakfast of assorted patisserie and cofee was on offer) They've tried McPizzas, McFried Chicken... WiFi hotspots seem one of their more sensible moves.
