Yes. I hear it. Over Shoutcast. My Winamp player provides URL: http://205.188.215.228:8000. With stream name "The Spirit of KJAZ San Francisco: In memory of Jerry Dean 9/7/2007. Thanks Parker.

It is barely 3 hours after learning of the revived presence of Jerrys Spirit of KJAZ (thank you Parker and Globalmusicwiz!!) and I feel that some fundamental equilibrium has been restored to my life. Does anyone know to whom I may send thanks for this incredible gift?

I just tried one more time to tune in to kjaz and to my surprise it was there. However I am so sad to hear of Jerrys passing. His calming voice and his selection of wonderful jazz is a major loss to all.Put me down for a contribution to keep kjaz on the air.

I just went into iTunes and clicked on the link in the Radio/Jazz section and it's playing fine - no editing needed.

I cannot tell you what it means to me to read all these wonderful messages about my father, Jerry Dean. He lived, loved and breathed jazz. You've given me memories of how my father not only touched my life but others too. thank you...

In an age where a nanosecond of dead air violates some programming dogma, what a treat to hear Jerry Dean's relaxed, informative hosting. Now Jerry's prior programs return; I hope the service continues. What better memorial than to preserve these hours of wonderful jazz.

Has anyone been successful in reaching the Spirit of Kjaz via the email address listed on their website?

Ever since I discovered KJAZ streaming on Winamp, I've enjoyed countless hours of Jerry Dean's amazing voice and talent. Having listened to jazz stations all my life as I've traveled across the U.S., Jerry was the best in my book.
How sad to hear of his passing. How exciting to know the stream is back up in his memory. Now I can continue to experience the best voice in radio along with his amazing programming skills. What a treasure!

I've been listening to "Jazz with Jerry Dean" on KJAZ since 2000, when I discovered this great station via Shoutcast. How sad I am right now, at this very moment when I knew about his passing! Terrible lost to jazz radio. Condolences to the Scram family from Sao Paulo, Brazil.

To Igor: It was thanks to Jerry Dean that I learned of Boca Livre, an all-time inspiration for me. Other Brazilian artists, too - such wonderful music! Jerry knew how to share the global magic with us all. Linda M in N. Cal.

I'll miss Jerry for his amazing voice. All the best for his family. Man, I can't count the number of artists Jerry introduced to me. Can't see a replacement for this unique man but hearing his voice again on the Spirit of KJAZ is very comforting. Hope it'll be there forever. Thank you Mr. Dean! - Robert - the Netherlands

Has anyone heard Stan Dunn or Tim Hodges make any "live comments" about Jerry on the restored Kjaz webcast ?I was under the impression that The Spirit was a joint venture between the 3 of them .
