When the girl unloads the contents of her purse, tell me the boy says f*ck loud and clear. Each time I see this commercial I'm dumbfounded to what he really says. By the way, the commercial is absolutely awful!

>>what it is, in fact, they are drinking. It's hot tea. So, now we know.

And now we know what they're using for teabags.

(Sorry, I couldn't resist.)

So do any women actually use those "reusable" rubber tampons that physically plug the menstrual flow until they're removed? I read an article about them on the web some time back. I can appreciate the cost savings, but I can't imagine most women actually washing the durned thing off and reinserting it several times a day.

ufez- Tampons still contain bleach. Women don't want to use beige-colored, or natural, tampons because they associate it with "dirty." They'd rather use dyed, white cotton that could harm them.

Natural, unbleached tampons are impossible to find where I live, and the ones online are terribly pricey. As all feminine hygene products are. It sucks. I am thinking of joing Miss Sally's OB Sandinista Army. The bleeding and broke are taking what is rightly ours.

Oh, and you should know that I had a dream last night wherein I asked the teenage boy from the tampon commercial what it is, in fact, they are drinking. It's hot tea. So, now we know.

I have indeed several times dunked a tampon in water (usually a handy toilet bowl). It's amazing when you're a fifteen year old boy. Crazy.

Did they ever fix that whole "tampons contain bleach and ammonia and all sorts of other bad things that actually make you bleed more and can lead to higher rates of cervical cancer" thing?

As far as the sugar goes, I thought this strange too. I say this because sugar is packaged like that in Europe. This advertisment clearly takes place in the United States of America. Does it not?

Aha! This all makes sense now. See, one of the things I hate most about this commercial (which has so many execrable features, so it's hard to pinpoint) is the bizarre overdubbing of the voices. Something tells me this commercial *is* European in origin. Which would explain why it is so redolent of those fucktard Mentos commercials of yore. Though this raises another question: what would a European girl be doing with a tampon? I thought they all just used rolled up rags over there. Frickin' communists.

Maybe it's because I never really pay all that much attention to tampon commercials, but I was under the impression that the young fella thought he was handling a candy bar. A, um, generic candy bar in a plain yellow wrapper. And then his girly said, "Don't you go eatin my tampon there, Jerry."

Wha-? Oh, I am hung over and sleepy. That exspslains sit.

I think I saw this commercial, but I only saw the last half and I was mightily confused.

But really, coffee is best black. I never drank coffee black until that one day I went ugruk hunting.

Thoughts about Tampons:

When I was a little guy, I thought my mom's economy-sized box of Tampax were actually toilet paper holders, and it took me a few years to realize that the little holders are pretty sturdy little buggers and don't really necessitate a box of 54. Once (like every little boy, I'm sure) I opened one up and played with it. I think I threw it in the bathroom trash, and now I wonder if my mom ever found the remains.

I'm an engineer in the microprocessor industry, and we have to continuously improve our products. The only other industries I can think of which are as innovative are the female sanitation and the razor companies. (Introducing the Gillette Power Quadruple Blade with extra lubricator. Handle sold seperately.) If I lose my job at AMD, my plan is to flood these companies with resumes.

Mr. Danza has apparently come to his senses and deleted his previous comments. They bear not repeating.

Such brazen Italian nationalism, Mr. Danza! Shame on you!

I have seen this advertisment as well.

I thought it very rude for that young homosexual boy to be going through her purse. He deserves to have hot oil poured over his genitals. The girl, likewise, should be scolded for not slapping him for such inconsiderations.

As far as the sugar goes, I thought this strange too. I say this because sugar is packaged like that in Europe. This advertisment clearly takes place in the United States of America. Does it not? Sugar is not packaged like that in the United States of America. In The United States of America it is in small, square little packets. In Europe you will find the straw-like tubes of sugar.

Also:

You should be ashamed, Mr. Danza. Such thoughts.
