Hey, does anybody have a spare unbent set of front forks of a 1988 ZX750?
My left side slider is bent off center by about 3/16 at each end.
Musta been a curb hit!
Thanks!!!

I could use those bearings. When the shop did my tires, they recommended I do the bearings (front and rear) ASAP. Let me know. I'll paypal you.

Hey, does anybody need a set of rear wheel bearings? I have two spare sets for my 88 ZX750. Cost? Free! Just pay the shipping from NJ 07724 to any of the 48 States(no overseas please). They are new Pyramid Parts and I'll ship them in a padded envelop, it will be cheap!

I found the seals on Ebay. They were 11.00 or so. All I have left to do is put on the front wheel. Can we post pictures here? I'd love for you to see the bike. It looks awesome. :)

Craig, I used the PVC pipe trick on my Norton. Worked great. Where did you get the seals. I'd sure like to see pics of bike!

Just got the seals in today...finally. Hope to complete the assembly on Thursday. Work (my job) has been hectic. No tips so far, but I'd be happy to answer any questions anyone might have. Really pretty easy job. Easier than expected anyway. My seals were not only leaking but were visibly in bad shape. The PVC pipe I bought for "setting" the seals was the best $1.80 I spent on the project. A few quick taps and the seals were set.

Hui S --- I repaired mine by fiberglassing them from the back. First I crazy glued the joint and put bonding powder to dry it up on the back. Crack only slightly visible. Be carefull not to get anything on the paint. Any surfboard shop can show you how to do glass work.

Hullo, great page,I'm in New Zealand, have 2 1989 GPx 750's and restoring one to original and the other to a track bike, trawled thru all the Q & A's and got lots of useful tips to refer to except for the one I'm really looking for: Any advice on repairing cracked/ broken fairings? Between the 2 I have a break in the same place

I am also looking for a stock exhaust setup. I have the V/H 4-1, and it sounds good, but I prefer stock. The pipes are the only thing on my bike that are not stock.
