My guess was that the delay over the last month or more was because they were going to G5s. If it was just an aluminum 15 and speed bumped 12 and 17 they could have brought them out sooner. Why else such a delay on the aluminum 15 after the 12 and 17? I really was thinking I might be able to go out and buy a PowerBook G5 this afternoon!

Now they'll probably wait until MacWorld. I think a VP of hardware is giving the keynote, so al-15 is probably his big talking point.
