Its posted 5/20/13 on the postal reporter about Oregon fights for jobs. It has MVS being put in the 11 tons or whatever they drive,and Dill trucking doing the tractor trailor work.

They're hiring pse drivers mostly I think now days due to the downsizing of the USPS.

Well, Our lame Management is still chopping up runs when they become vacant.
And now we have new Dock assignments. Obviously management can't get that right either. Maybe if we saw them on the floor more often they would know how things really run on the floor.
Looks good on paper boys so I know it must work. BS

Is California MVS doing ok since the big court deal? Is the USPS mgt starting to work better with the union? I see Mike Foster will be incharged of MVS soon.

they have trailers from the early 80's still in use. The fiberglass composite composition is in decomposition. Major health hazard. Shortness on breath, anyone?

My transportation manager was ask, what year was our postal trailers, and he have to send in the info of all, we have some 1980s not in California

California air standards: Does the USPS have plans to meet air standards in California ? Someone had made a comment that the USPS was ordering new equiptment ,and that would be good to hear. Edited 04-11-2013 12:01 PM

As far as I know, nobody changed crafts here in LA. We had some guys take the buy out and retire, everybody else held tight and it paid off, BIG.
