VMF in a state of destress. Mayday!!!! We have the Stupidest manager I have seen. SHE doesn't know how to be a manager and has no knowledge of the operation. We are about 500 services behind and she makes dumber decisions every day. Does your VMF vendor out pmi's? We have had to vendor repairs out for some time but never the inspections. She started sending them out also. I filed a safety grievance on the piss poor job they did. They denied it so I filed a 1767 unsafe working condition form. I'm currently arguing with safety about the vehicles being unsafe. It's crazy here and what about where your at? What part of Baltimore are you in? at my vmf they just cut mechanics overtime and we are a month behind and it semms that it dos not matter if they get done or not, all pmi's are done in house and the tags get done by contractors.by the way they also cut the vomas ot too so when a vehicle goes down on their day off it sits till they return the next day and no one seems to worry about it.there was a time when that vehicle had to be repaired asap.

Those worthless VMF managers have to take orders from, and report to, higher-ups somewhere along the feeding chain. You can bet they are being told to contract out as much work as they possibly can.......

Philly MVS,
The arbitration will resume with a meetings on July 24-25.
Each side presents final statments etc., (I would assume)?
Then they (union & the PO) prepare there brief's, present it to the arbitrator.
Which then he'll make his decision in his own time frame in the upcoming months to my understanding and make his decision.
Most of us are still commuting (some ride the bus to and from. But with the fuel prices going up & up, it get's tougher and tougher to endure this task believe me!!!!!
But were hanging in there until the End......
