Thursday I would love to join those of you who plan to go out to
have a drink or dinner together. It would be great if someone
could post a message on where and when they'll get together or

BTW: I will stay at:

Hi! I'm very much looking forward to BlogTalk.Net, I'm writing
about the Algebra of Copyright and lately I'm working on
http://xpertweb.com, http://www.givingspace.org and other
elements of an "economy for working openly"
http://www.ms.lt/openwork/ through our laboratory Minciu Sodas
http://www.ms.lt serving and organizing independent thinkers. I
want to do a "road trip" through Eastern Europe (Prague,
Budapest, Warsaw) by bus, train or car, ending up back home in
Vilnius, Lithuania. Please let me know if we might me up in
Vienna and elsewhere! Andrius, ms@ms.lt

Hi Sebastian,

Thanks for the offer to visit Nurnberg. Have been there a few
years ago. I enjoyed the town very much with its medieval
charachter in the Altstadt, and was also impressed by visiting
Zeppelinplatz, a focal point of the dark parts of our combined
European history. However, it will not fit my schedule to come
to Nurnberg on the 20th and then travel with you to Vienna on
the 21st. So, I look forward to seeing you in Vienna!

Kind regards,

The Matrix Reloaded opens in Vienna on 22 May. Is anyone else interested in seeing it, either before or after the conference (Thursday or Saturday evening)? There are English theatres in Vienna, but German is OK for me too. Either way, we should probably reserve tickets ahead of time.

Again: The Austrian Airlines want to get hold of cheap tickets and therefore offer up to 50% discount.

Hi Scott,

I would like to see the Matrix Reloaded, and would like to join you for a visit to the cinema. I prefer saturday evening, as I will arrive in Vienna late on thursday night. I think I would prefer the original sound, so the English version, but have no problems with German either.

I would like to make one reservation though: if it turns out quite a lot of participants in the conference are staying on at saturday night, I think I would like to make the most of what precious face to face time we have, and not sit 90 minutes beside you in silence :)

Anyway, I think it's a fun idea. Maybe Thomas can give us a clue if it is necessary to make reservations for tickets in advance or if it is early enough to book tickets on let's say friday or even saturday.

Kind regards,
Ton

Hi, I suggest checking here http://www.film.at/ for the theater. Hmm, no idea if a reservation is necessary. Since it is the first day, could be.

Hi Thomas,
it seems the Blogtalk website still points to the old deleted Quicktopic in stead of this one.

Kind regards,
Ton

Hi all,
do you have a hotel to recommend ?

Also is there a map somewhere indicating how to get to Krems from Vienna ?
Is it possible to get there using public transportation ? How long does it take ?
Or is better to chose a hotel in Krems ?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Patrick, tho conference will be held in Vienna. You don't have to drive to Krems. Though it is very nice there.

Do you know what area in Vienna is best to stay to enjoy the evenings (restaurants, bars, theaters, etc) ?
