It occurred to me that the building you live in is older than any building in all of my county of residence, save one - its first jail, built of logs and painstakingly maintained as an historical artifact. In other words, you live in something a local would think of as a sort of museum. Weird.

I think we just found your next writing assignment.
But seriously, the video tour and this post made me jealous. Living in a house with plenty of room comes with its own set of annoyances. Having four walls and just enough space to store the essentials actually sounds pretty nice right about now.
And living alone? I can only imagine how relaxing that must be.
But I guess it's like that little crab said: The seaweed is always greener in somebody else's lake.
