Have you checked out their tour and testimonials?? They've bypassed waiting for someone else to create a parody, and made one themselves... The first testemonial says:

I was invited to join Friendster from a friend and found it to be a "GREAT" way and a "FUN" way to meet new people and to network.

Why the heck are 'great' and 'fun' in quotes??
Simply awesome.

Friendster's in need of some parody. They'd really benefit from a shift to users downloading an app and hosting their content locally, maybe cache a given user's files within their immediate peer group so it'd be available even if they're offline? A shift to e2e would help eliminate thelag/outage issues. Allow for file sharing, chat, external links, and more robust potential for comments/interaction and it'd be great. As of now it lacks any real function beyond a providing a remarkably static database reminding you that some of your friend's friends are dickweeds.

And how is this different from the old http://www.sixdegrees.com ? Sounds like the same ol' exploit-your-FoaF-network.

Well there's http://enemyster.com/, though the last time I tried I couldn't figure out the "beta password". Probably nothing there....
