I'm just angry that it takes your own friends to join and play... What about us losers?

A lot of people I know have expressed interest in adding their pets as their friends. If Petster existed I bet it would be popular. I guess you can add your pet to Friendster as it stands, but there's no good answer to the "What's your age?" question.

Friendster is such a hoot too. The whole testimonials thing is broken in how they use it. It's become just a generic comments field. I've read testimonials that are like:

"Wow, I don't know this person, but anyone with those interests who is that cute must be cool. So I added them as a friend."

Uh. okay. So it isn't really a friend of yours, yet you've linked to them as a friend. huh?

the petster.com domain appears unoccupied.

I would agree that friendster is kind of already a parody of itself.

Has anyone noted the utility of these things for STD epidemiology? Though that presupposes that this thing has _ever_ actually fostered human interaction much less sex, which would be more sad than anything else. Can you imagine the sad, grey, hopeless, lifeless, 'GREAT', 'FUN' specimens who would rely on the offices of Friendster, Inc. to cure their social life deficiencies?
