You're a sick man. But I think you might be right. There is definately a resemblance there...though I hate to admit it. The worst part of that stupid nandedarou song is that it sticks in your head thus lowering your daily IQ average considerably. I shudder to think of having to listen to kids "singing" it on the train. My heart goes out to you in your time of need...

I just found your site, cant remember how. It is all highly entertaining. I do not live in Japan and have yet to hear this Nandedarou song thing but if it is anything like staic-x's stuff I am sure it will be "interesting"...
Those bands seem to infect every country... the ones with the comic slant thing that is... it is sick and should be banned.

Sometimes I think... shikaku ni kanshite, amerika jin no kankaku to nihon jin no kankaku wa kanari chigau. kono mae NOVA no sensei nimo iwareta. sono sensei wa seito ni "Jim Carrey ni niteru" to iware ochikonda souda. tashikani watashi ga mitemo niteiru to omou. demo, sono sensei wa nihon jin igai no hito kara sonna koto o iwareta koto wa ichidomo naitte itteta. Tetsu to sono shashin no hito mo, watashi ga miru kagiri zenzen betsumono ni mieru...

Yoko: Sorry Japanese support doesn't work and you have to type in Romajii @-@;;;;. Romajii ha kekko mendokusai ne? QUICKTOPIC ga nihongo dekinaikara tabun BBS wo kowaru to omou da. Demo toriaezu quicktopic wo tsukau. Demo sa, boku no tameni romajii ha chyotto ii ne, kanji anmari yomeni dakara ;)
Dustorgan: Static-X and the Nandedarou guys have nothing in common except I think Tetsu and the leader of static-x's faces look similiar, their music couldn't be more different.
Andrew: Thanks for your support. It's true, I can feel myself getting stupider everyday beause of that song. Naze ka dan dan baka ni natte? nandedarou...?

I don't know why but I thought I'd give you the gist (jist?) of what Yoko was saying:
She knows a teacher from NOVA, and many of his students tell him "You look a lot like Jim Carrey", (and she thinks so to!) but he says that the only people who have ever told him that are Japanese people. Indeed, when Yoko looks at the pictures of Tetsu and the Static X singer, she can see no resemblance whatsoever.
