Hey, Bruce. How's it hanging? Went for a dip this afternoon... the water was quite nice. Did some siding on the cottage today...slow but sure. Checking out my digital channels from my roof antenna. Biiiiig improvement.
Hey, Ralph. Did you notice a couple weeks ago on your driveway, there was a colored football standing on a rock mid way on your driveway? I paid you a visit, but no one was home, so I left a trinket for you. The miniature football was on your driveway so I thought I'd mess with ya. Hey All... Enjoy the summer!!

OK JW, you answered the story about the football, now did you also knock down the wood pile at the same time???
We sure have had some rain during the nite as out paddle boat has water up to the shaft that connects the peddles and the back seats are full. I kinda enjoy it as when I awoke I heard it and said what the hell why do I need to get out bed as I really can't do anything so I might as well stay here until it stops but after watching the weather I decided I can't stay there until Monday afternoon. I'll just clean the whole family room walls and all. That may give me some points with the women when they come up and see what an ole geezer did to contribute the the house cleaning.
You all have a great day and be safe.

Thanks muchly JW. I really appreciate it.
Rain has stopped about 45 minutes ago and there are some real small blue spots between the clouds over towards the bsc (Boy Scout Camp). It sure feels great knowing I don't have to drive home today and I have another 4 days before going home to mow the lawn and then head back up on the same day so that I have another long weekend. The bride is being super letting me to come up by myself and doing some chores that I enjoy just taking my time doing.
McD how is the puppy doing. I see by the last few pictures you have some training to do keeping him off the furniture and jumping up on the kitchen cabinets. It all takes time. In enjoy as they do not stay small and cute for very long. Scott picks his up in Weare NH this coming Friday.

Becky, are you or have you been up here this past week. I noticed that the addition on the side over the porch appears to be finished and all the extra materials have been removed, also I have seen a car in the drive for a few days, but unable to obtain the state.
We all miss hearing and see your keying in's on the blog. Hurry back both on the pond and the blog when you can.

The sun is nice and bright and is coming in our windows just delightful right this minute down by the dam. My friends I are renting for this week (motorcycle week) and have had a great time even with some uncomfortable weather, but really have enjoyed the sunshine when it has been out. You people have a wonderful place to vacation/live. Myself and the rest hopefully will be able to rent next year and that's in negotiation at the present time. A neighbor gave us this blog info so thought we would give it a try. We also viewed the photo section. You guys/gals have posted some great photos of the area and seasons. Some real nice sunset pictures and the ones showing the snow and the different roads are great also.
From the four of us "THANKS"

Great way to go fishing on the lake/pond

The man hasn't lived who would not be proud to be related to this genius.

FLOATING GAZEBO

I was going to build the Gazebo on the edge of my dock down by the lake but I thought....
I might just as well build the deck with floats on it and I can then take it out fishing too.
It has a > 15,000 lb. capacity. The deck is 18ft x 18ft with 12 plastic foam filled dock floats
that are 4ft x 4ft by 18 inch. High and the Gazebo Is 10 ft. Hexagon with a table and chairs
inside. Under the table is my trolling motor so I can take it out to my favorite fishing hole.
The trolling motor is remote controlled wireless so I can be fishing outside and operate the
motor. On the top of the table I have a LOWRANCE Fish-Finder with depth sounding sonar’s
and temp gauge. I have 2 electric winches with 40 lb. anchors. I have also built in a Water pump
so I can clean the fish right on the spot. Now I can relax and fish while my wife can
sit and relax.

 I know you want one!!!
