SUNSET LAKE & HILLS POND BLOG

Does anyone on this site know if Hills Pond ot Sunset lake have Milfoil issues? I seem to recall Milfoil in Hills Pond 5 or so years ago when fishing up there. I am now down on Lower Suncook Lake where we (Ed Neister actually) are fighting the battle against Milfoil and winning. Curious to know however, how far up the Milfoil is. Does anyone know the level of Sunset Lake now? I need to do some maintenance on the dock and was thinking about coming up next Thursday if the lake was down.

It should be completely down as it is at 5 foot mark or better now. I believe every ones pier is out of the water as of this weekend

No problem for dock work George.

Hello everyone "HAPPY HALLOWEEN" I haven't posted in a while.Ihad a sudden illness that required surgery.I am slowly recovering I hope everyone else is doing well.Keep the posts coming'always happy to hear what your all up to.Funny thing about a week ago My neice sent use some pictures from one of her friends facebook page.and asked if they looked familiar.They were pics of sunset lake the dam and what used to be Geo. Dows camp turns out they are friends of his daughter.I don't know there names though.my neice is Carla and is friendly with them SMALL WORLD HUH!!

Sorry to hear you've been ill. Hope everything is OK now. Is Carla a singer. I forget her last name. I've met her several times. I just returned from the lake after shutting down Diane's place for the winter.
