I'm sorry the ole geezer hasn't reported in. I just got inside to sit down at the system. I only came in for lunch and then right back out. I was very much surprised when I looked out the bedroom window at 5:30. We got a GOOD 10 to 12 more on the 12" side of light, yes I did say LIGHT snow up here. It took a bit of time to plow and get it cleared the way I like it. The guy I have plow it made a run in the driveway and then saw me and I told him he could finish it so that it's a paying job and he said no you like playing with the Rhino and I have to finish his route and then get to his regular job (Wolfeboro Oil Tech.).I'm surprised that there is very little traffic out on the lake or on the trails at least by listening for the snowmobiles. Guess a lot of people do not have to day off. The sun has been out nice and bright since about 1. Here at our homestead it is 30.2 degrees in the shade and in the sun on the farmers porch it is 41.6 degrees. Guess that's all you wonderful people want to know. Like I said before don't hesitate to ask if you need something.

It's snowing again this morning up here. we have about 1/2" right now. Town is working hard sanding pushing back bankings as they are expecting a tough afternoon.
Cindy, no lights at your neighborers last nite. Guess it was a one night stand so to speak.
I'm headed out in a little bit. Don't think we'll take a chance of leaving at the 3:30 time frame. I'm glad we did the absentee ballot thing last week.
Hey you all, don't forget to VOTE. It is a big race in MA and all our votes count. Enough of the soap box stuff.

Oh the association mayor has been walking around looking in garage windows so I guess those he looked at are a OK.

Bill, send me a e-mail to pegleg6977@verizon.net and I will tell you the story so that you can laugh with the rest of the people who does know. It was discussed many moons ago on this site.
The garage I was talking about was the one across the street from you with the snowmobile trailer in the drive and you were at you house at the time.

 What a fantastic day for the pilots and everyone at the Bay

It sure is a beautiful site to see all the planes in the Bay. The day is just perfect for them as the rain comes tomorrow night which will probably spoil it for a few days until it gets cold again.

Hallelujah, there are lights across the lake. Welcome and glad to see life in the homestead. Kinda windy isn't it. The temp as I key this in without the wind chill is 6.4. The lake is mostly ice as the rain melted all the snow then froze and now there is just a bit left from last nite because of the wind. It looks as if it may be good for the younger at heart to ice skate on it.
McDude, thanks for the last e-mail just now. I had just received it about 5 minutes before from another party.

Added 1/30/10 at 10:44 AM. Temp went down to -2.1 here at our homestead without wind chill during the nite. Beautiful bright moon all night through. No wind at this time, but the lake is sure making it's funny noises.

We'll be renting out our place extensively this summer in an attempt to hold on to it in these tough times. If you know of any responsible parties who might be interested please share this link with them!! thanks McD

I sure hate to see the below thread. I know how much you guys love the lakes during the summer and having to do this must be hard. Are you listing in the Winni classifies.
I will keep eyes and ears open and pass the info on.

My heart is with you McDude as it broke my heart when we had to give up our place"GOOD LUCK"

Weather station at lake is saying 15.7 degrees with a 14 to 17 mph (steady)NNW wind blowing. Now if we could only get a foot or two of snow it would be just great. School vacation week it is going to be a guys week with the son, grandson and myself for the week while the girls head for Florida.

Is there any snow on the ground? Or did the rain wash it all away?

Welcome back, long time no hear. YES there is some snow, but there is ice under it from all the rain and there really isn't that much on the ground. Have you been up to see the big house that they have put up beside you. I haven't got a picture of it right now, but if you want to see it I will take one the next time I go up and post it for you or if you want send me a e-mail as the address is located several threads back
