Happy 4th everyone!!! Bruce, sorry you won't be visiting the lake this summer. We'll be thinking of you. Haven't been to the bay for fireworks in a couple of years. The kids are grown up & it's just not the same. But I have fond memories of those olden days with the gang there on the deck/roof on my van watching the fireworks. Boy, we had good times, huh? It would be great to see everyone this summer. Hope it can happen.

The pond came up 6 inches overnight...now at the top of the dock!

It rained buckets all the way up here this afternoon. It was a long, slow ride. The pond is really high...right up to the bottom of my dock. Happy 4th of July everyone! McD

Although I have never met you, you have a wonderful 4th and truly wish that you would be able to spent this great holiday with your family and friends up here at the lake.

Hi everyone, happy holiday week. Hope the weather will be good this weekend.
Hot as blazes here in Georgia. Just was listening to Led Zeppelin (Whole Lotta Love) and it made me think of the SL 70's gang. Matter of fact Sunset Bob gave me Led Zeppelin II for my birthday one year. We share the same birth day however I will point out he is 1 yr older than I. Some of my fondest memories are of the fire works at the bay. We thought it was so cool to watch them with sunglasses on. Try it tomorrow. Unless something changes we are not planning to visit this year we wish everyone a safe and happy summer. Kevin and Jeff - watch over your sister!

I thought it was going to be sunny when I got here this morning, but it isn't. Maybe it will come out during the afternoon, but until then it is paper and book reading time.

You'all have a wonderful (weather permitting) and safe 4th of July weekend. If you are like me the weather will not hinder my great weekend up on the mountain.

Went to the Meadowbrook to see STYX, REO SPEEDWAGON & 38 SPECIAL Sat nite.
Had a great time (Me, Cheryl, Phil & Sully). Took an extra day off (Mon.), just arrived home. BOB.... I guess you didn't recognize me yesterday afternoon. Me and Phil were walking my dog when you passed us near DeVito's driveway. You waved but kept going. Afraid of a dog, are you?
Cindy, Mike (Sully) gave me a picture of Cheryl L. and of Ann M. (Nora's friend) They look like highschool pics, maybe. Should I post them?

Hi all, Happy summer!!!!!!!!! This school nurse lost the spring with the H1N1 (let's be official) flu visiting her school but IT'S OVER and all is well!!!!!!!!!!!! Long time coming but the summer has FINALLY begun! Fortis are all here and Mike ANY time you are in area come over. There is only one wk end all summer I'm not here, july 25th. Other than that we're here. Bruce unfortunately is not planning on making it back this year. I was attempting to coordinate a reunion with his return but no such luck. Any one in area, let us know! MIke? any time better than another?? Enjoy all!!!!!!!!!!!! today was the PERFECT day on the lake! Cindy :)

McD, won't be there as there is a big 40th B-Day party down here this weekend. I don't stick my friends under stools just puppy dogs when they get tired.

Well I was going to stop by this week-end and return those newspaper articles that you lent me but if you are going to stick me under a stool forget it!
