Well it looks like Bobby and Mike did it again (maybe that could be a song) first it was the Drivers in Tacoma years of suffering than a huge sell out only 17 of the 32 drivers are returning and the other work the 15 drivers did is still being performed by the contractor. The arbitration that was won was thanks to the regional coordinator Omar, read the case Bob and Mike fucked up the 32 argument and we won on Omars constant demand that we but article 12 in the Grievance, thanks Omar. Second we have Columbus Ohio Bob and Mike have been working on the runs for the contractors for months and here we go Columbus is being contracted out and the drivers are being excessed up to 500 miles away, another great job. Well lets not forget the ERT arbitration were the Arbitrator said that the Union filed the grievance untimely and we notified earlier than they said they were, or that they negotiated from 100% full time to 90/10 great job 10% of the craft not getting their hours. How about the casuals in MVS for allowing Management 10% PTFs not the 0% they wanted we now have casuals all year long, how many never had casuals except for xmas now have then all year, another great job. The list goes on, Holddown not being utilized for maximization, from 2 hours to 1 hour the time utilized for a run reposting and many others. But lets not forget the MOU on work rules the greatest accomplishment these 2 so called leaders have gotten for the craft. I hope their will be someone anyone running against them this election I will do whatever is needed to support anyone else, one thing I hope its not to late. PS to all who support these 2, stop the charade and start thinking of the craft not your pocket.

/m252There is only one cable that retracts the door so when it breaks there is no easy way to open the door. Often the spring itself breaks and that will make it act the same way. Don't know if you have a VOMA or not so if you do just fill out a repair tag. No VOMA ... Still fill out the tag and tell your supervisor you can't work out of that vehicle.

We seem to be in a loosing battle to keep MVS as a craft. They are all ready telling MVS supervisors to sent runs up in contractor format. We were all set up by upper management for failure, crap trucks that are costing more in repairs than there worth. Not being able to hire PTFs paperwork being held at the area level, driving up Overtime and Penalty OT costs with summer vacations. Not being able to hire casuals at good rate of pay that's set at 12 an hour with all the flexible hours that these people have to work they should be paid more. But no one wants the job for that money with no benefits. So when all is said and done and everything is weighed against MVS vs Contractor guess who going to get the work.

Curious.....it means... a distributor-less ignition system was installed instead of the distributor-cap-rotor button setup. When they reference scanner, they are refering to an automotive diagnostic scanner..NOT ur mail scanner LoL

I need advice. i have been an unassigned regular since may 2009.i received a letter on my time card saying i was awarded a residual assignment accorded to Article 39.2.A5 of the CBA.No bid was posted,i was not offered the assignment. no one asked me if i wanted the assignment.i spoke with no one about it.I am the most senior unassigned regular TTO!There are 3 other drivers that are unassigned regs one being the ex craft president who is acting (literally) as a shop stewart since he lost the last election. he is junior to me by 5yrs. the others are junior to him.recently the #1 TTO retired.I know for a fact i was assigned the bid that i did not want so the ex pres could get the choice assignment.I went to the local president when i got wind of this action and accused the ex pres and management of collusion to prevent me from getting the choice assignment! I have strong evidence that I was wronged! The ex craft pres and the local pres are friends.i filed the grievence myself and gave it directly to the local pres to handle.I have a timestamped copy.if no action is taken by the local pres what is the next step for me? should i use the NLRB? Management let it be known that they will abolish the choice schedule if i continue to make waves.this situation sucks! what recourse do i have?
