Jim, the BBC news website (news.bbc.co.uk) regularly show a small table of US and UK military casualties and deaths alongside Iraqi civilian casualties and deaths. The last time I saw the table, there were around 600 Iraqi civilian deaths (1st April, http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/2907373.stm)

Jim, I must say, I found your topics, not-so-interesting on the whole. That said, thank you for your words today. They are on spot and, given the air of oppression and conformity in our national media, almost brave.

To be honest, I haven't enjoyed any guest-bloggers postings as much as Wiley Wiggins'. Nevertheless, I have liked yours, with the exception of their seeming infrequency.
And I was particularly struck by the audacity of today's post.
And congratulations on the Phoenix-to-be.

What do you mean no WMD's in Iraq? MSNBC already found them. Really, I don't know why we go to all that trouble of organising a team of international independent experts when we have such solid investigative journalists already there ;)
