Hi... just checked your site from filepile. Daryl Worley's "Have you Forgotten?" cracked me up. I laughed hard. Belive it or not, it was played in Australia

YEEESH.

I haven't heard that song, but I'm pretty sure I'd hate it...

However, I DID hear a song called "Iraq and I Roll" by some other country fuck.

HATE HATE HATE HATE.

Let's buy each other beers because we are cool.

Remeber the guy who back during the Iranian Hostage Crisis who did "Barbara Ann" as "Bomb Iran?" Maybe not. You were probably in your diapers at that point, It was kind of stupid but gratifying at the time. The same dude is back, this time doing "Yakety Yak" as "Bomb Iraq." Leiber and Stoller are having coronaries about now. But crises brings out idiots and profiteers who prey on, what is, to be fair, some very legitimate greif and anger, just misdericted.

And to be fair, he does do "(Oh) Donna" as "Osama" which I havent heard but the idea of which makes me chuckle.

Inciting hate so that the haters will be proud of themselves. [sarcasm]Outstanding.[/sarcasm]

::shrug:: I didn't make the world, I just live in it.

Sorry for the lack of content, just feeling at the moment like I have one foot in the Twilight Zone, and not happy about it in the slightest.

Man, it's so, just...Somehow, Mr. Show was parodying things that hadn't even happened yet. It's like "C. S. Lewis, Jr.'s":

'Cause you don't mess around (beat - beat) with God's America!"

Speaking of prophetic entertainment...

Does anyone else feel like they're living in the South Park Movie?

Remember? How the US regressed into a WWII-like ridiculously patriotic nation? "Snacky Smores presents: The March of War!"

Trey Parker and Matt Stone are obviously both Jesus.

You know, it hasn't been all that long since Toby Keith blessed us with the subtle and moving patriotic anthem, "Courtesy Of The Red, White And Blue (The Angry American)":

"Uncle Sam put your name at the top of his list
And the Statue of Liberty started shaking her fist
And the [sad] eagle will fly and its gonna be hell . . .
You'll be sorry that you messed with the US of A
Cause we'll put a boot in your ass it's the American way"

Of course, now that we know that the Statue of Liberty hates freedom so much, it sheds new meaning on this stirring poetry.

Regime Change

Advancing down the road from Niniveh
Death paused a while and said 'Now, listen here.
Your see the names of places roundabout?
They're mine now, and I've turned them inside-out.
Take Eden, further south: at dawn today
I ordered up my troops to tear away
its walls and gates so everyone can see
that gorgeous fruit which dangles from its tree.
You want it, don't you? Go and eat it then,
and lick your lips, and pick the same again.
Take Tigris and Euphrates; once they ran
through childhood-coloured slats of sand and sun.
Not anymore they don't; I've filled them up
with countless different kinds of human crap.
Take Babylon, the palace sprouting flowers,
which sweetened empires in their peaceful hours -
I've found a different way to scent the air:
already it's a byword for despair
Which leaves Baghdad - the star-tipped minarets,
the marble courts and halls, the mirage-heat.
These places, and the ancient things you know,
you won't know soon. I'm working on it now.'

What kind of country song is that?

(j.k., Gribble. That was great.)

Yes, that pro-war country song is stupid drivel. It makes me shit on my hand and throw the faecal matter at walls covered with religious - i mean, politically charged - symbols.
