I like most of your work. The theme to me is that even over distances there is common ground. Maybe.

Robo thanks for the article about writing on the F train. I have written in some unusual places and it helps to know I'm not alone. I'll be working on creating some time to write regularly. I think it will sharpen my skills. Have a great day.

Are any of you planning to be at McK tomorrow morning? Around 10 or 10:30? If so, I'll drop in for awhile.

Remember Will Lavender who presented his book "Obedience" at our meeting? He got some good news.

"My second novel, Dominance, was just picked up by Shaye Areheart Books! I’m working to finish the manuscript as we speak. Stay tuned for any news on Dominance or Obedience, and feel free to contact me at willrlavender@gmail.com. "

"The test of any good fiction is that you should care something for the characters; the good to succeed, the bad to fail. The trouble with most fiction is that you want them all to land in hell, together, as quickly as possible."

His name was Richard Mudd, late twenties. He had been dead three days before they found him. Like I said, no one saw that coming. I am still kind of shaken over it.

This weekend has been BS, ending with the death of a good friend. No one, I repeat, no one saw that coming. That that this weekend is over I can focus on a new week. At least I finished that damn book I was reading. And of course, writing every night. It was good to see Norm at your meeting.

That was an excellent turnout last night. A new face or two. Tell Patrick I'm crossing my fingers for him.
