You better be getting your Spooky pieces ready for October 29th. You better watch out.

I will be in Chicago tomorrow night, Lord willing and the creek don't rise (and I MEAN that).

Have fun. I started to blog - hope I can keep at it. So far it's fun. Why aren't More of Y'all doing this? Why don't we start one for Calamitous Falls???

Annie-I was blogging but then found that content was hard to find. But it is better than twittering.

Rob - I was thinking - why not do a Calamitous Falls blog? set up a yahoo addie and give CCW member who have something to add the password and then allow them to post as their character news updates or blogs? Act as if it's a real town, real people posting news and even photos if they have something that adds to the overall feel of it. I think it would be a hoot. Who knows, we might get followers (who would later become people who might buy the book!)

I've had a nice response to my thoughts on creating a setting - I think we might get some readers.

Gail-I came up with mine by watching the Discovery Channel on Sunday night. I'll try to find you a spark.

Wait - when is the spooky story reading? I just wrote something and need to know how long I have to get it ready.

Okay, I just looked again and see it's the 29th. Dang I wrote something a whole week early? That ain't right.

Dear Ghouls,
It's that time of year. The annual Spooky Award contest is this Thursday night. We will be having the meeting at Mary Lou Madigan's house. She said to come by around 6:30 for some snacks and chatting before we get into our readings by 7:00. I sent her address to you all in e-mail.

Excellent meeting last night. Strongest batch of Spooky material as a group. How come more of us aren't published? Oh yeah, we gotta submit our work!
