With regard to the 'Photo Mystery' on the 'YES..NO..SORRY!' website, I took the photograph at Gunnersbury Park on the 18th July 2005, shortly before the 2nd Bob Ashton cup game that year. The Gent's had just had their picture kindly taken by Chris Wright's girlfriend (can't recall her name) and it seemed only fair to take a picture of the opposition. The original posting can be found at http://gowlcc.org.uk/Results/WestXI_05_Gunnersbury.htm.

Seems they played like they had attended a WestXI prayer meeting.
England may have been stuffed but at least we weren't dressed for the mardi gras.

Extract from BBC Sport website coverage of the England Australia twenty 20 game: " England are in a long huddle, it's like a prayer meeting" BBC cricket correspondent Jonathan Agnew on TMS.
Good to see England are keeping up the Westie traditions.

Tarts in Tights - Haden look particularly effeminate. No Wonder Shane Warne opted out - couldn't imagine his belly in one of "those"

Good to see the Aussies still at the cutting edge of cricket fashion with their Star Trek 20/twenty outfits. Didn't do much for their cricket though!

We probably are a lager force- Hillbilly - Cant find your e mail address for some reason. The number for the local parks is 01483 743698. The park pitch as dicussed was still marked out last week and the local team that used it have finished. Could be worth a try and easy to get to from Waterloo as first stop out on all the fast trains.
