He was so out of it he only sent it to about 4 people! It was total gibberish anyway - something about Somerset and Mums and Dads getting their kids up to go to school!

In perusing the Beggars in White Site, I was dismayed to see that in our "banner photo", skip has let the side down with his sartorial inelegance. Mr McGirr's shorts are forgivable, given the climate and the fact that they are offset by respectable trainers, but Wrighty's glaring error in wearing what looks like baseball boots is compounded by the trousers being half way up his calves, exposing pallid flesh. Is this the image we wish to present to the world?

Having taken professional advice, it would appear that Mr.Hill's dismissal of London Saints' Loomes in their 2nd Innings last Sunday was illegal, since the bails blew off the wicket whilst the ball was in the air and were not on the stumps when it hit the wicket.

Law 23 Section 3b 'Either umpire shall call and signal dead ball' if (iv) 'one or both bails fall from the striker's wicket before he (the batsman) has had the opportunity of playing the ball.

Conversely, if the non-striker's wicket is broken at the point of delivery by the bowler or some act of nature, this does not affect the legality of the delivery and should not be called 'dead ball' - ref. West XI v.Acme 13/8/06.

Congratulations to Biggers for his amazing achievement of scoring 5000 runs over 20 centuries.Him score 4 will his other slogger hit loads bought back memories of a hot surrey day along time ago and padd mashing the runs while biggers stayed in for hours and hours for very few runs!

However his innings did ensure the oppo went to sleep and we won easily that day !

Off now to the carpenter to have it polished

My client is also seeking an improved contract as his latest performance has surely established him as a top four batsman of the highest quality.

My client also requires a profesional ball dryer so that he does not get his hands covered in that horrible red dye.
This will also benefit the rest of the team as it will mean they will not have to stand in the pouring rain waiting for my client to wipe the ball dry after every delivery.
