Alive? Dead? Hard to say. It's really hard on their True Beliver followers, who have to put up with their Supreme Leader walking through walls, and appearing hale and vital one moment and a rotting corpse the next.

Stefan Jones - Your comment reminds me of Muad-dib's dilemna in Dune. He forsees a Jihad being committed by his people; that if he lives he will lead it, and if he dies it will be done in his name since he will become a martyr.

Scary stuff, especially if you think of OBL or Saddam.

Speaking of entanglement: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detai...5-6180028?vi=glance

One of the bombs dropped on al Queda has resulted in a tragic superimposition accident.

I thought Bush had already claimed they were entangled...

Saddam and Osama are both in an indeterminate Schroedinger's Cat-like state.

Alive? Dead? Hard to say. It's really hard on their True Beliver followers, who have to put up with their Supreme Leader walking through walls, and appearing hale and vital one moment and a rotting corpse the next.

Soon they'll be begging for an objective Westerner to take a good hard look and collapse the wave function.

Let's just hope that Osama's and Saddam's flux states don't become entangled. That would be way freaky.

For those who'd like to see the original: go to today's MSNBC war pictures for today (4/2/2003) here and you'll find it in there.

MSNBC sez: A cellular phone in the West Bank town of Hebron on Wednesday displays a mobile message with the image of Iraqi President Saddam Hussein saying, in Arabic: "God saves my soul for you, God destroys America."

I don't suppose anyone wants to go to the effort to explain this? I searched MSNBC but I couldn't find anything.

That can't be right. His eyes are still open.

He's the right color, though...
