Ah, yes; industry standards, and what the industry actually does, are two things. Sometimes, they coincide...

The last time we spoke - ten years ago - we were berating iffy fax-modems and "Class2" and chipset vendors.

Yes, I was at the WLAN show - things don't really move on do they!

It was spooky. I had planned to post several bulletins, some live, "bloggy" ones here during the day. I couldn't - within half an hour of registering with the WLAN Event network, I was thrown off. And the cause was Channel 13; legal in Europe, but disruptive to Channel 11 and invisible to my Linksys adapter...

I wonder where this will lead?
