the new 17-inch PowerBooks

 Bought the 12" and found it a tad pokey. Bought the 17" and turned the 12 over to my daughter. I LOVED the portability of the 12, but the lack of cache definitely made a difference in working with graphics. The 17's display is stunning and the size ample for anything I've done with it so far. I hooked it up to my 19" La Cie Photon and the amount of landscape just blew me away. It's a beautiful piece of work.

 I love the speed...the size....the 17" display (only one dead pixel), the case, the keyboard, the speakers, the Superdrive, uh...did I mention the display? Purchased a terrific sleeve from Waterfield Designs (sfbags.com) and am completely mobile and hopelessly in love. This will replace my desktop and with adapter, will connect to my flat panel. So far...so very, very good.
