I am in favor of the passage of Texas Senate Bill 1579. I teach high school computer animation and keyboarding. I have used Linux for servers during the past five years and on work stations for the past three years. It is fabulous and it is free. As proof of its worth, all of the major animation studios, including Disney and DreamWorks, have adopted Linux as the standard.
