I am in favor of the passage of Texas Senate Bill 1579. I teach high school computer animation and keyboarding. I have used Linux for servers during the past five years and on work stations for the past three years. It is fabulous and it is free. As proof of its worth, all of the major animation studios, including Disney and DreamWorks, have adopted Linux as the standard. As a Linux advocate in the El Paso ISD (TX) I naturally support the passage of TSB 1579 - I believe there are economic and safety issues that need to addressed by all involved, and perhaps follow the lead of countries like Peru that have mede very strong cases for Open Source software usage (http://linuxtoday.com/news_story.php3?ltsn...-06-012-26-OS-SM-LL)
The K12LTSP.org model for technology implementation also needs to be studied carefully. aahodson@episd.org

My friend has been buying cigarettes via internet for very low prices without paying taxes for more than half a year.
I was extremely surprised by that. Furthermore, prices are less than in the Indian reservations.
