I could make one withing a week, and put up pictures of the saved intermediate steps.

Check out the face article at http://www.secondreality.ch in the tutorials section- don't get hung up on copying it exactly though.

Another face of mine is on the message board at
http://pub33.ezboard.com/fnendowingsmiraif...e?topicID=485.topic it has a bit more detail (check out the way skin folds around the egdes of the lips) and also a non-smoothed cage picture.

I like the method of having a wings window taking up half the screen and having a reference image open in an adjacent window, and recent versions of wings make it very easy to import pictures (only in a few formats and dimensions, though) and you can turn your object transparent and
basically 'trace' the image.
