Thank you for this analysis. How ironic the neocon idea of denying to others what we claim for ourselves. This from people who claim to be Christian. I wonder how this fits into the ideals of the free market? We deserve it because we stole it. Yep, that's the Republican Philosophy.

I knew this was coming. I predicted it several years ago. I've dealt with religious fundamentalism for a number of years, and I can all that will read this, they have invaded the functioning of our government at every level. Imagine, conducting the foreign policy of this country with religious text written thousands of years ago by a primitive goat herding culture. That's the country we live in, now. They think we are living in the so-called, "end times." That's why they've carefully been moving into positions of power over the years. They want to completely take over the government, create a Theocracy, and "await the coming of Christ." That's here. As far as foreign policy goes, I heard one of those things in a position of power say the other day, "There needs to be a stirring down below to create a stirring up above." In other words, they are facilitating God's coming or Armageddon/WWIII. That's what we see in Iraq now. Get that??
